Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures and adhering to site-specific policies within a government location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government facilities.
Conduct regular and random screening of individuals entering the premises to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access.
Monitor entry points and verify credentials of visitors, staff, and/or contractors as required by site procedures.
Communicate professionally with visitors and staff, providing assistance and information as needed.
Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents according to site guidelines.
Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining a composed presence during urgent situations.
