As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or members of the public with inquiries and directions as appropriate.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to support a secure environment.
