As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as well as on foot. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed during critical situations.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol to help to deter unwanted behavior and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
