Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Patrol Specialist in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding people to designated areas and coordinating with emergency services.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to clients and the public.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support a secure environment.
