Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. As this is a driving post, you will operate a vehicle during patrols while remaining highly visible and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership as required.
Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
Complete written and/or electronic reports documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the location.
