As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist visitors, and offer exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious behavior.
Observe and report on activities or incidents at the location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Interact with the public, visitors, and employees at the location to provide assistance and information as needed.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
