As an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet riders and staff, communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and personnel by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders, and by supporting emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, platforms, bus bays, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disputes, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from supervisors and/or public authorities when needed.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification or authorization as required, and assist with visitor direction, queue management, and general site information.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
