As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols on foot and/or by bike, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences as encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with location staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment.
Follow all post orders and instructions from supervisors regarding security-related tasks.
