As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access at a government location. You will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct regular patrols to maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support exceptional customer service, while your ability to use computers or tablets will aid in daily operations. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the government location.
Conduct identification checks and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
Assist visitors and employees with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Perform regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
Document and report any unusual or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Work collaboratively with on-site personnel to support the security-related objectives of the government location.
