Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in support of authorized entry and exit procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and/or report irregular conditions.
Support daily operations by maintaining accurate logs, completing required reports, and following post orders and/or site protocols for security-related activities.
