Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location where you will help manage access control, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor entry points while providing professional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document activity, and communicate clearly with site staff and visitors. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Security experience of 6+ months is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control policies at a manufacturing location.
• Control entry and exit at gates, lobbies, and/or guard shacks by checking identification, issuing temporary badges, managing visitor logs, and directing arrivals to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns to report.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by coordinating with drivers, verifying scheduled deliveries and pickups, inspecting vehicles for access authorization, and documenting security-related activity per post orders.
