Job Description As a Security Officer - Badge Verification in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and vendors. This role combines access management, routine patrols, and strong communication to help address security-related concerns. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A guard card is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points to help manage authorized access for residents, visitors, deliveries, and contractors within the residential location.
Verify visitor and vendor information, communicate with residents regarding guest entry, and document access activity in accordance with property guidelines.
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting security-related protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community, common areas, and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns to Allied Universal and/or property management.
