You will support access points, assist staff and visitors with clear communication, and document observations as needed. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance from emergency service partners when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, public areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.
Monitor access points and screen visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site rules, verifying identification and directing traffic as required.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol observations, and/or policy violations, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
