Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and direct visitors and vendors with professional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols and remain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents, while supporting teamwork and integrity on every shift. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor check-in, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining access logs.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems, and report irregular activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with orderly area control as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
