Job Description As a Security Officer - Gate Access in CLARKSVILLE, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication, support access control, and respond to incidents as they arise. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards within the food and beverage processing environment.
- Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
