About The Position

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Roving Rounds in CHERRY HILL, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and provide professional customer service through clear communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production and warehouse areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing staff, patients, and vendors to the appropriate areas according to site procedures.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and/or access control records, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal management and site personnel.
