About The Position

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Post in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and guest interactions. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to alarms and/or service requests with professionalism. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks, parking areas, loading and delivery zones, and common areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and maintain visitor, vendor, and contractor entry processes, including checking credentials, directing arrivals, and documenting access per site policy.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard observations, and communicate relevant information during post handoff.
