About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Saint Augustine, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support residents with exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or assigned vehicle to help monitor the property and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site expectations.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and/or local contacts regarding security-related concerns.
Document daily activities, patrol observations, and incident information in required logs and/or reports, and share updates with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.
