About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Patrol in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and campus contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location guidelines, offering directions and assistance to छात्रों, staff, faculty, and guests as needed.
• Support security-related operations during classes, events, and/or daily campus activity by observing surroundings, reporting concerns, and following post orders.
