Job Description As a Security Officer - Full-Time Building Patrol in Essington, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you'll monitor and patrol transportation-related locations to help create a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Being at least 21 years of age is required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as needed.
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site contacts to address security-related matters.
