Job Description As a Security Officer -Building Patrol Driver in Foothill Ranch, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, support access control and badge checks, and help to identify and report security-related concerns while delivering friendly customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Being able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail floors, common areas, corridors, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance hazards, completing clear incident reports and communicating updates to the appropriate contacts.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, service doors, and delivery activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or theft-related activity.
