Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Shippingport, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome employees, contractors, and visitors while supporting a smooth entry experience. You will manage access control, check IDs, issue badges, monitor cameras and alarms, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific access procedures, and other security-related protocols for an industrial location.
- Manage visitor, vendor, and contractor check-in and/or check-out, including verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining visitor logs.
- Monitor cameras, access control, alarms, and other front desk systems; report irregular activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site leadership per procedure.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or initiating site emergency response steps as directed.
- Answer phones, route calls, coordinate deliveries and key control, and document shift activity in written reports and/or electronic systems.
