As a Front Desk Officer at a financial services location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will support a welcoming lobby experience while helping to reduce unwanted incidents through a professional presence and attention to detail. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years’ law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Have a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have CPO certification, which may be completed post hire.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at the reception area by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and check-out logs, issuing temporary badges, and directing authorized visitors to the appropriate location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, entry points, and surveillance systems as assigned, and promptly report suspicious or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, documentation, and notifications to appropriate parties.
  • Complete detailed reports, maintain shift activity logs, and support security-related audits and compliance needs typical of a financial services location.
