As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be stationed at the entrance of a professional location, greeting visitors, verifying credentials, and managing access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and provide outstanding customer service while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies in a timely manner.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal personnel to address inquiries and provide assistance.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate to the front desk environment.
