As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, providing a welcoming presence and helping to deter security-related incidents through attentive access control. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with building occupants, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with building management and emergency services when required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of security-related activities and incidents occurring at the front desk.
