Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading technology location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. You will help to deter security-related incidents by managing access control, monitoring entry points, and providing exceptional customer service, all while using computer or tablet systems and embodying Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and/or vendors as appropriate.
  • Assist with the management of visitor logs and issue visitor badges according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with all individuals entering or exiting the location, providing information or assistance as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to help to deter unauthorized access and support overall site security-related objectives.
