About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of a tech and media location.
  • Monitor access control by verifying identification and managing visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Monitor lobby and entry areas using surveillance systems and/or direct observation to help to deter suspicious activity.
  • Provide clear communication and customer service to clients, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including alerting appropriate personnel and following established procedures.
