About The Position
As a Security Officer - Front Desk Operations in Asheboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and personnel. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact at the front desk, greeting and assisting visitors, employees, and contractors entering the location.
- Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, following site-specific access control procedures.
- Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain detailed logs of visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
- Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and/or addressing concerns from employees and visitors.
- Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures and communicating with appropriate contacts.
- Support Allied Universal and client site operations by adhering to all security-related procedures and policies.
