About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Manufacturing in Lincoln, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will serve as the welcoming face for all visitors and personnel, assisting with access control and responding to inquiries. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR Certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist employees, visitors, and contractors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client instructions.
Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor check-ins and check-outs, and report any unusual activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate professionally with internal staff and external parties, providing information and assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
Support emergency response activities from the front desk by following established procedures and coordinating with relevant personnel as required.
