About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Lobby in Asbury Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential community where you will be the welcoming front desk presence, helping to support residents, guests, and staff through professional access control, visitor check-in, badge/key accountability, and clear incident documentation. You will monitor activity from the lobby, answer questions with exceptional customer service, and communicate quickly with on-site teams when concerns arise. Requirements

  • Have 6+ months of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the residential location by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes when applicable, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas per site procedures.
  • Monitor security-related systems and front desk activity, reporting suspicious or unusual activity and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving calls for assistance and coordinating notifications per post orders.
  • Complete required logs and reports, document incidents and service requests, and communicate shift activity to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
