As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service while assisting with security-related matters. You will remain visible at the front desk to help to deter incidents and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism. Requirements

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with hotel staff and/or emergency services.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences observed at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with guests, staff, and/or visitors to address inquiries or direct them as appropriate.
