As a Security Officer - Front Desk Financial in Rapid City, SD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access to the premises. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. You will interact with employees and guests, respond to inquiries, and maintain a welcoming environment, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Have supervisory experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner, providing customer service while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and any security-related incidents.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, employees, and visitors regarding security-related matters.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols.
