About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge credentials, monitor entry activity, and support incident reporting while delivering standout customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Manage front desk access control by greeting guests, verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals and/or escorts.
  • Monitor security-related systems and communications from the front desk, including cameras and alarms when assigned, and report unusual activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
  • Support routine administrative tasks tied to security-related operations, such as answering phones, directing inquiries, processing deliveries, and completing shift reports.
