As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, providing a welcoming presence and supporting access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access control at the front desk, verifying credentials and authorizing entry to the location as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of visitor activity and incidents as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, such as coordinating communications and directing individuals as needed from the front desk area.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior at the front desk through professional presence and adherence to procedures.
