Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service at a chemical and petrochemical location. You will greet visitors, manage access control, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and reliability. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist employees, contractors, and visitors at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain compliance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at the front desk, maintaining accurate records and logs as required by site procedures.
• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to questions or concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents as needed.
• Support emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, following location-specific emergency procedures.
