As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge CRE in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at this premier commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, guests, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with access control, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the lobby area. By remaining attentive and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a positive experience for everyone entering the building. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A valid security guard card or license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, tenants, and staff at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the location, verify identification and credentials as appropriate, and assist with visitor management in accordance with established protocols.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills to address concerns as they arise.
Assist in emergency response activities when needed, following all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
Communicate promptly and clearly with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related matters at the front desk.
Support a welcoming and professional atmosphere while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or undesirable behavior at the location.
