As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants and visitors, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service, all while representing the Allied Universal values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.72 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Requirements

  • Must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials, and assisting with visitor management protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with building staff, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and/or concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining composure and providing clear information to first responders and Allied Universal management.
