As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants. Your role includes managing access, assisting with badge procedures, monitoring entry points, responding to alarm panels, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verify identification, and maintain visitor logs as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including communication with building management and emergency services.
Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access or activity through professional presence and observation.
Communicate clearly and professionally with building occupants, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
