As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and tenants. You will remain visible at the front desk to help to deter security-related incidents, assist with access management, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for all persons entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual circumstances according to company and client protocols.
  • Assist with visitor management by issuing badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and property management to address questions and provide assistance.
