About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Clearance Required in Apopka, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials as required by location protocols.
Assist with visitor management, including signing in guests and providing information as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
Maintain clear and accurate records of incidents, visitor logs, and other security-related documentation as required.
Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
