Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Banking Specialist in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting employees while maintaining a professional presence. You will manage access control, monitor entry points, and provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. Requirements
- Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist employees, visitors, and/or clients at the front desk while maintaining a professional presence.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and/or credentials in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and addressing concerns in a courteous manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
- Follow all site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the location.
- Assist with visitor and/or package management processes as required by the client site.
