About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk Ambassador in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

  • A current guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, verifying visitor access, and supporting security-related procedures for a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, greet employees and guests, manage sign-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive access control practices.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, direct visitors, maintain accurate front desk logs and incident documentation, and communicate important information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Support emergency response activities and follow post orders while maintaining a professional presence at the reception area throughout the shift.
