As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support daily operations with strong customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing traffic and/or pedestrians according to site procedures.
Screen and process inbound and outbound deliveries by checking paperwork, seals, and load information, and reporting discrepancies per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, warehouse areas, parking lots, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location and shift.
