As a Security Officer Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in cultural institutions. This unarmed patrol role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You will support guests, staff, and daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while reflecting an agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
  • Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, performance spaces, public areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, assist with crowd and line management during events and peak visitor periods, and help to support orderly movement throughout the location.
  • Communicate with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or conditions that may impact daily operations.
