About The Position

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with site staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, fence lines, gates, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, logging visitors and vehicles, and directing deliveries to approved areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems as assigned, and complete detailed activity logs and incident reports for security-related events.
