Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol in Tulsa, OK , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your team, and respond to concerns with professionalism and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and support areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, complete visitor and/or vehicle processing as required, and assist with directions and general information.
  • Complete timely reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate status updates to supervision and site representatives using approved systems and/or radio protocols.
