As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues. You will assist tenants, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate setting.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, and the perimeter, observing for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations and reporting findings per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing initial assistance and coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, directing visitor traffic, and monitoring deliveries and service vendor activity in accordance with location procedures.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, using Allied Universal and/or client systems as required, and communicate status updates during shift transitions.
