About The Position

As a Security Officer Foot Patrol in Titusville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access and visitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and assist with visitor directions and general questions while following post orders and property guidelines.
Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with property management and/or emergency responders regarding security-related matters.
