As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech and communications location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor interactions. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams on site, and respond to concerns with a customer-service mindset. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control concerns, and reports of suspicious activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel using site procedures and identification requirements.
Control and document visitor, vendor, and contractor access by following check-in processes and directing individuals to approved destinations.
Monitor cameras, intrusion or access control systems, and other security-related equipment as assigned, reporting concerns per site protocol.
Complete detailed reports on shift activity, incidents, and observations, including maintaining logs and documenting follow-up actions.
Communicate with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and local public responders as needed during incidents and service requests.
Perform perimeter checks, stairwell and corridor checks, and parking area patrols, adjusting coverage based on time of day and site activity.
Support emergency procedures such as evacuation guidance, medical response assistance within scope of training, and scene preservation until additional resources arrive.
