Job Description As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, respond to alarms and service requests, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and/or visitor logs, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical calls, and/or building management notifications as directed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and/or maintenance observations, and communicate timely updates to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
